In 13-14 kilometers on foot, the condition of the people completely deteriorates. Some people also take the help of helicopter to reach here. If you are not in a condition to go on foot, then here we are telling you other means to reach Maa’s court…
1) Horse travel
This is the oldest means to reach the court of Mata Vaishno. You are taken to Mata’s house by sitting on a mule or horse. If you want, you can take a horse or a mule to go from Katra or from Ardhkunwari to Bhavan.
2) Pram for kids
If you are going with children for Devi Darshan then you can avail the facility of pram. Two children can be seated together in this pram. For availing the facility of pram, the charge will be different from Katra to Ardhkunwari or from Katra to the main building.
3) Helicopter
This is the best way to reach the court of Goddess. For this you have to book about 2 months in advance. 5 to 6 passengers are carried in one round of the chopper. Which takes about 8 minutes.
4) Palki
Palki is also a good vehicle for elderly to children. You can book it from Katra. With this, its fare is decided according to your weight.
5) Ropeway
Apart from Vaishno Devi Darbar, Bhairav Baba’s temple is also on the hill, which is even more difficult to climb. Although now there is a ropeway service for this. It goes directly to Bhairav Ghati from Manokamna Bhawan, which takes 15 minutes.
