Mass restoration of used spare parts for cars was proposed to be launched in Russia

Anatoly Aksakov, head of the financial market committee of the lower house of parliament, confirmed the information about the proposal. According to him, a letter addressed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will be sent next week.

The document notes that there is no spare parts recovery industry in Russia. Against the backdrop of Western sanctions, this could be a solution to the problem with the supply of parts.

The deputies propose to settle the issue of car recycling in order to reuse spare parts. Manufacturers may be required to remanufacture components.

The organization of this sector will make it possible to reduce dependence on supplies from abroad and avoid mass failure of machines. However, the reliability of such parts raises questions among a number of experts.

Earlier, auto expert Kirill Formanchuk named the main problems of parallel import of cars. According to him, such vehicles do not have warranty service.
