In the Sverdlovsk region, law enforcement officers checked more than 20,000 migrants as part of raids. 1,816 administrative offenses were revealed, the press service of the Sverdlovsk Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told reporters.
The events were held in the region from 19 to 23 September. The most frequent violations of migration legislation were non-compliance with the regime of stay in Russia and violations of the rules for attracting and using foreign workers.
94 criminal cases were opened on the fact of fictitious registration at the place of residence, registration at the place of stay of foreigners, as well as the use of fake migration cards. 200 people have been expelled from the country. In addition, fines totaling 2.8 million rubles were issued to foreigners.
