Regardless of the geopolitical situation, the aviation industry in Russia is provided with orders for at least six years. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
The domestic aviation industry receives significant state support. A year and a half ago, in particular, VAT on the production of aircraft was canceled, recalled in an interview with “Kommersant” minister.
“Those plans that are drawn up, that are provided with a budget and signed, will be implemented. Regardless of how the geopolitical situation develops, we are provided with aviation-related orders for at least six years,” Manturov said.
Currently, the aviation industry is directly supported by the “state ruble”, without requiring “subsequent return of the state’s direct costs.” They will return through taxes, creation of infrastructure and jobs, the minister said.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Industry Yury Borisov said that it would take three to five years to launch mass production of domestic aircraft of various classes. RT. He also recalled that the L-410, L-610, Il-114 and Baikal aircraft will provide new transportation logistics.
