Madhya Pradesh: Youth burnt alive in hospital, incident caught on CCTV; accused arrested

A youth was burnt alive in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident is from the district hospital here. It is being told that the name of the victim youth is Damodar Kori. Damodar Kori had a fight with a young man over some issue. After this the son-in-law was handed over to the fire alive. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the hospital.

Damodar Kori, who was scorched in the fire, is currently undergoing treatment at Bundelkhand Medical College. Doctors have said that his condition is stable now. Taking action in this case, the police arrested the suspected accused Milan Rajak. A case has been registered against Milan under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Gopalganj police station in the district.

In the CCTV footage that has surfaced, it is seen that Milan Rajak enters inside the hospital. After this, he goes to a corner of the hospital and lights a fire. After this, he goes to son-in-law Kori and sets him on fire. It is seen in the video that after the fire, Damodar Kori is running here and there in the hospital in a shambles. Meanwhile, accused Milan is also seen coming out of the hospital.

Sagar District Additional Superintendent of Police Vikram Kushwaha told the media that ‘the accused had used petrol to set the fire. In the CCTV footage and interrogation of the victim, it has been confirmed that Milan had set him on fire. The interrogation of the accused youth is on.
