Belarus is not planning an “attack” on Ukraine. This was announced today, on August 19, by Alexander Lukashenko.
“Don’t think that I’m planning some kind of attack here, we’ll bomb Ukraine from the territory of Belarus and so on. I have no desire for your and my children to fight. In the name of what?” he said during a working trip to the Brest region.
“We need to calm down,” he said.
“No Ukraine is at war today. Today, the entire NATO bloc and America, first of all, are at war with Russia, Lukashenka stressed.
Recall that since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine to provide assistance to the LPR and DPR. Belarus does not officially participate in it. Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly stated that his country does not plan to get involved in the conflict, but is ready to respond to any encroachment from outside.
