A devastating explosion rocked a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department training center Friday morning, claiming lives of at least three officers. The incident, occurring around 9:30 AM local time at the Biscailuz Training Center on Eastern Avenue, sent shockwaves through surrounding neighborhoods.

Initial reports indicate several deputy sheriff officers died in blast. The training facility houses Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau’s bomb squad. While concerns about more casualties arose, police spokesperson Robert Luna confirmed no additional injuries.
Speaking at a press conference, Luna described explosion as an isolated incident. He stated, “We still do not know a lot. Our goal is to go back to beginning and trace back to understand what occurred for this tragic incident.” Investigation has begun, with authorities hoping for quick information.
Preliminary findings suggest a bomb inside a vehicle caused the explosion. Multiple law enforcement teams, including local bomb disposal units and FBI, are on scene. They secured entire area, conducting rescue and search operations.
