Therefore, the Rada adopted a law on the development of electric charging infrastructure and electric transport.
“The adoption of this law not only creates conditions for the spread of the use of vehicles equipped with electric motors, the development of infrastructure for charging stations, but will reduce Ukraine’s dependence on imported energy resources and will contribute to economic benefits due to the lower cost of electricity compared to other types of fuel. . Also, the law will significantly reduce the cost of building the infrastructure of charging stations, which will lead to an increase in investment in this industry.”– said the Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Ukraine Farid Safarov.
It is assumed that on public city bus routes in cities with a total population of more than 250 thousand people, the number of electric buses as a percentage of the bus fleet should be at least 25% as of January 1, 2030 and at least 50% as of January 1, 2033.
