Kyiv journalist Taksyur was taken to Russia after the petition of Patriarch Kirill

Kiev journalist, writer and active supporter of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church Jan Taksyur was taken to Russia as part of an exchange after his personal appeal to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’. About it informs TASS with reference to Archpriest Andrei Pavlenko, who was present at the exchange.

According to him, Taksyur wrote a letter to the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, “being in the dungeons.” The journalist asked for assistance in his release and delivery to Russia. Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church petitioned for the removal of the publicist from Ukraine. Pavlenko noted that Taxiur will undergo a medical examination and treatment in the Russian Federation.
