Podolyak offered to exchange the ex-head of Motor Sich for a thousand Ukrainian prisoners of war
The Ukrainian authorities expressed their readiness to exchange the ex-president of the Motor Sich company Vyacheslav Boguslaev for a thousand Ukrainian prisoners of war. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the presidential office, stated this in an interview with one of the local TV channels, he was quoted by the Telegram channel of the publication. “Strana.ua”.
“If we can exchange the subject of Boguslayev for a thousand of our guys, then, of course, we will go for any exchange processes. <…> We can always keep this option in mind,” he said.
In March, Boguslaev sent a letter to the office of the President of Ukraine with a request to include his name on the list for an exchange with Russia. The SBU did not rule out such a possibility, but on condition that the accused gives the necessary evidence.
The Security Service of Ukraine announced the detention of Vyacheslav Boguslayev, former director of the Ukrainian Motor Sich plant, on October 23, 2022. He was suspected of “cooperating with Russia.”
Earlier, SBU employees released an audio recording of the conversations of Vyacheslav Boguslayev, president of the Motor Sich enterprise, which allegedly confirmed his ties with the Russian Federation.
