Kuzmin proposed to make the cost of a mortgage the same for any housing

Mortgages should cost the same for any type of housing, regardless of whether it is an apartment building or individual housing construction (IZHS). This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Government and Northern Affairs Dmitry Kuzmin during a round table of the relevant committee on March 23.

The adoption of such a decision will allow citizens to receive “cheap money”, the senator believes. “In addition, if we increase the number of finished projects with design estimates, we will reduce construction time and reduce the cost of the project due to the fact that it is standard,” the parliamentarian added.

This set of measures will make it possible to make a good start for the future and enable the Russians to use this tool, Kuzmin summed up.

Earlier, the Cabinet softened the conditions for obtaining loans for family, Far Eastern, preferential mortgages and mortgages for IT specialists. The changes will affect, among other things, mobilized Russians and participants in the SVO, as well as families that raise children with disabilities. The relevant government decree came into force on March 18.
