Marina Kryukova, a relative of a patient from the Kurgan BSMP, complained about the lack of care and insults from the medical staff in the neurology department. A woman who had a stroke was not given drinking water and duck by doctors, she wrote in the Kurgan public of the VKontakte social network.

“Mom was admitted with a stroke to the City Hospital No. 1. As soon as she was transferred to the 4th floor in the intensive care unit, the nightmare began. Not only did the medical staff not respond to requests, did not give water to a sick person who could not stand up and reach for water on his own, they also considered it necessary to let go of various insults to the patient. Mom, after numerous attempts to call a nurse, tried to get a bottle of water herself, and fell (several times). And the doctor on the phone said that she “slid out of bed once.” They also did not respond to requests to bring a duck, and then they scandalized if a person went under himself. And this is only a small part of what is happening there, ”wrote Marina Kryukova in the Black List|Kurgan group.

The author noted that due to quarantine, relatives were not allowed to see the patient. There was no communication with the patient. The woman told her daughters about the mistreatment by the medical staff after being discharged from the hospital. Marina Kryukova clarified to URA.RU that complaints about this fact were sent to the regional depzdrav, Roszdravnadzor and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

In the comments, the Kurgans cite similar stories. “We also encountered this in May, no connection, no come, nothing was achieved when they called the doctor, then the granny told what horror she experienced there,” Sofia Yarushina wrote. “I completely agree, I was there last year, the attitude towards patients is disgusting!” – said Sveta Svetikova.

The Department of Health of the Kurgan region in the comments to the post replied that the facts set out in the message require verification. URA.RU sent a request to the regional health department with a request to comment on the situation.
