Chairman of the public organization of veterans of the penitentiary system (penal system) of the Kurgan region, retired major general Viktor Zlodeev was elected deputy chairman of the all-Russian public organization of veterans of the penitentiary system. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
“Chairman of the public organization of veterans of the penitentiary system of Zauralye Viktor Zlodeev took the post of deputy chairman of the all-Russian organization. For a significant contribution to the development of institutions and bodies of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Viktor Fedorovich was awarded the gold medal “For Contribution to the Development of the Russian Penitentiary System,” the department said.
An extraordinary conference of the all-Russian public organization of veterans of the penitentiary system, during which elections were held for the governing bodies, was held at the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia (Ryazan). The event was attended by the director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Colonel-General of the Internal Service Arkady Gostev.
Retired Major General of the Internal Service Viktor Zlodeev was born in the Shadrinsk district of the Kurgan region, led the region’s penitentiary system from 1989 to 2001. Later, he served as head of the Main Department for the Execution of Punishments of the Perm Region (from 2001 to 2003), head of the Department for the Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Justice of Russia in Moscow (from 2003 to 2005).
