Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine will use fighter jets and long-range weapons to solve problems in the country. He also added that such weapons could be used to strike Russian-controlled territories of Ukraine.

“We use the weapons that we receive from partners to strike at Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine,” Dmitry Kuleba told the TV channel skynews.

“We can guarantee that we will use Western weapons to liberate Ukrainian territories,” he added.

Representatives of Ukraine said that the country needed about 180 fighters. US President Joe Biden refused to supply Kyiv with F-16 fighter jets, saying they should remain in the US. French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out that his country would supply fighter jets to Ukraine. In the UK, they said that Ukraine would receive fighters only after the end of hostilities.

Ukraine also requests long-range weapons, but has not yet received weapons of this type. According to American media, the United States fears that Ukraine will use long-range missiles to strike deep into the Russian Federation.
