Members of the South Korean vocal and dance group BTS have announced that they are breaking up.

The K-pop idols spoke about this at a press conference of the production company BigHit Music. The celebrities explained that BTS is taking a break from working together so that the members can focus on developing their solo careers. Hoseok will release the album first, followed by Yoongi, and then Jungkook.

“You have been with us for almost ten years. Each of us will need time to be distracted, to learn a lot of new things. We promise that someday we will return even more mature than we are now,” said Jungkook.

Netflix has officially renewed the South Korean TV series The Squid Game for a second season.
