Andriy Klishas, head of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, considers President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky a threat to global security due to the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The senator wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
In recent days, the Ukrainian military began to shell the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant more often; on August 11, the territory was hit several times. The head of the interim administration of the region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that the Ukrainian military is trying to hit the nuclear waste storage facility.
“Kyiv is engaged in nuclear terrorism without possessing nuclear weapons. Let’s now imagine that Zelensky’s plans succeeded and they got a “dirty bomb”. The Zelensky regime is a real threat to global security,” the senator wrote.
Earlier, Moscow warned Kyiv against further provocations against the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which is Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that further actions by Kyiv could lead to a nuclear accident.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that attacks on nuclear power plants could lead to a global man-made disaster.
