KhMAO authorities plan to conclude an agreement with Lukoil for 1.5 billion rubles

The KhMAO government plans to conclude an additional agreement with LUKOIL for 2023. The documents posted on the official website of the regional authorities indicate that almost 1.5 billion rubles will be spent on the implementation of joint projects.

“The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Government received an appeal from the General Director of LUKOIL-Western Siberia, Vladimir Zubarev, on Addendum No. 15 to the Cooperation Agreement dated January 29, 2019. It is proposed to determine the list of activities and the volume of financing for the construction of social facilities on the territory of municipalities for 2023, in the amount of 1,485.0 million rubles, ”the information note to the Supplementary Agreement says.

The list of projects includes about five dozen items. These include the construction and reconstruction of housing and communal services, roads, courtyards, sports, cultural and educational institutions, financing of municipal competitions, competitions and charitable assistance.

As part of LUKOIL’s cooperation with the authorities, a new youth and cultural center will appear in Pokachi, a skate park will be built in Uray, and construction of a new school will begin. In Beloyarsky, the Geologists Square and the Belaya Gorka Park will be equipped with the money of oil workers, and the Path of Ancestors will appear in Surgutsky District. In the Nizhnevartovsk region, the company finances the construction of a ski base, and in Langepas, it finances the overhaul of the Dolphin pool and the local registry office.

LUKOIL’s funds will be used to host cross-country skiing competitions. Povkha, children’s hockey tournament, intercity judo and sambo tournament. The rehabilitation center and the city hospital in Langepas will receive new equipment. Charitable funds will be allocated to support the indigenous peoples of KhMAO. The list of projects and the amount of their funding may change due to economic factors.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that a joint project between LUKOIL and the government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is being implemented in Kogalym (KhMAO). A new educational center is being built in the city – a branch of the Perm Polytechnic University.
