The deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, said that the region actually left the jurisdiction of Ukraine, and therefore no longer obeys orders from Kyiv.

We do not take any statements of the Kyiv regime seriously at all, as they crossed the line of ethics and morality, starting to shell the peaceful Kherson region and rejoice at the destruction and casualties among civilians, ” Stremousov said.
He stressed that the personnel decisions made by the Kyiv regime no longer apply to the Kherson region. According to him, the regional authorities “generally do not take any statements of the Kyiv regime seriously.”
Formerly government representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnichuk said that the candidacy of Yaroslav Yanushevich for the post of head of the Kherson regional state administration was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
And Stremousov, for his part, announced that Yanushevich would never come to the Kherson region. In his opinion, the head of the regional administration appointed by Kyiv is a “virtual governor” and a “dummy”.
