Actress Kangana Ranaut met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday evening at his official residence in Lucknow. Congratulating CM Yogi for the next assembly elections, Kangana said that like Raja Ramchandra, the ascetic king should reign in your UP. Shortly after the meeting, it was announced by the government that Kangana would be the brand ambassador of the UP government’s One District One Product (ODOP) scheme.
Kangana has reached Lucknow for the shooting of her upcoming film Tejas. Kangana reached Lucknow on Friday morning after shooting for three days in Moradabad. Kangana posted a picture on Instagram, updating her fans about meeting CM Yogi. The Chief Minister’s Office called it a courtesy call. After some time, Kangana was announced as the brand ambassador of the ODOP scheme.
One District One Product is a flagship program of the UP government. Its objective is to encourage such indigenous and exclusive products and crafts, which are made in different districts. Chikankari, Zari Zardozi, Black Salt Rice etc. are produced in the districts of UP which are not available anywhere.
During the meeting, Kangana lauded the work of the Yogi government in UP. The Chief Minister invited him to visit Ayodhya and visit Ram Lalla. Along with this, Prasad of Ram temple was also presented to him.
