The Russian company KAMAZ plans to supply buses and electric buses to Uzbekistan. This was stated by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov today, June 14, IA “Sputnik Uzbekistan” with reference to Tatmedia.

“The KAMAZ auto center and assembly line have been opened in Uzbekistan. And, of course, KAMAZ has a desire to supply buses and electric buses, which are like in Moscow. There are 80% of electric buses produced by KAMAZ,” Minnikhanov said.

According to the agency, the proposed electric buses have an increased range of up to 80 km, a fully electric heater is installed, and, accordingly, harmful substances in the atmosphere are excluded.

In addition, as Minnikhanov noted, another Russian company, Tatneft, also sells tire products in Uzbekistan and is working to create gas stations.

According to the Tatarstan leader, ElAZ, TEMPO, KMPO, KER-Holding, Tatkhimfarmpreparaty, Remdizel, POZiS and others are also interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan.
