Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov told the details of the conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which took place the day before in Sochi. In the telegram channel, he said that, in particular, he discussed with the head of state the socio-economic situation in Chechnya, as well as the progress of the special operation in Ukraine.
“Friends, the day before, immediately after the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Turkey in Sochi, I met with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and reported on the socio-economic situation in the Chechen Republic <...>. A separate part of our meeting was devoted to fighters from the Chechen Republic, who were following the order of the Supreme Commander in Donbass,” wrote Kadyrov.
In turn, the head of state highly appreciated the military merits of the Chechen military and emphasized their contribution to the liberation of the Luhansk People’s Republic. Putin was also pleased with the socio-economic indicators of the region, Kadyrov said.
