Kadyrov announced the transfer of Chechen fighters to the DPR

The soldiers of the Chechen units received an order to redeploy and will begin active hostilities on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This was stated by the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

“Chechen units have received a new order to redeploy forces. The territories of the Donetsk People’s Republic become the zone of responsibility,” he wrote in his telegram channel Ramzan Kadyrov. According to him, there the fighters will break into active hostilities and will liberate a number of settlements.

The command headquarters of the units has been receiving new intelligence for several days and is developing plans to liberate settlements in the DPR, Kadyrov said. According to the head of the Chechen Republic, this is only the first stage.

A special military operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
