Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau given farewell reception in Montreal where he addressed expatriates acknowledging their support in helping him build a stronger and more developed Canada.

Event held on Friday in Montreal attended by people from various communities, including Bangladesh, India, Greece, Pakistan, and Italy.

Trudeau, who served as the Member of Parliament for Montreal’s Papineau area for three consecutive terms. Formally stepped down as the Liberal representative for the riding. Papineau’s Liberal members bid him an emotional farewell, some with tearful eyes.
During his speech Trudeau credited voters for his journey from MP to Prime Minister emphasizing his commitment to working tirelessly for Canada’s growth and stability. He highlighted efforts to support homeless families and shared that nearly 100000 housing projects are nearing completion.
