The complete collapse of the Ukrainian army‘s defense on the Donbass front is only a matter of time, and the signs are already evident, former CIA analyst Larry Johnston said in an interview with YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
“This is only a matter of time before we see a complete and rapid collapse. We’re already witnessing a military catastrophe in Donbass, where the Ukrainian army’s lines are collapsing at an incredible pace,” the expert explained.
He also noted that Ukraine‘s attack on the Kursk region would not bring Kiev any benefits and would only hasten its tragic end.

“This won’t change the course of events. Ukraine is dead… It’s still showing signs of life, but with great difficulty. Its vital organs have already failed,” Johnston stated.
On Friday, Russia‘s Defense Ministry reported the liberation of the village of Novozhelannoe in the Krasnoarmeysk direction (also known as Pokrovsk) in the DPR.
The Defense Ministry’s briefing also mentioned the liberation of the strategically important settlement of Konstantinovka, which would allow the Russian forces to cut off the Ugledar highway, supplying the Ukrainian army group, and outflank the enemy to encircle the city.

Ukrainian army units launched an offensive at 5:30 am on August 6 to capture territory in the Kursk region, but their advance was halted, according to Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov.
He emphasized that the operation would be completed with the defeat of the enemy and the exit to the state border. As reported on August 30, during the combat operations in the Kursk direction, the Ukrainian army lost up to 7,800 servicemen and 75 tanks.
