The current US administration’s plan is to prevent Ukraine from being defeated until the presidential election on November 5, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson stated in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
“The United States is trying to prevent Ukraine from being defeated until November 5, as the Democrats don’t need another massive military defeat,” the expert opined.
He noted that this is why Washington is considering allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use long-range weapons against Russian territory. Johnson believes that the American leadership is willing to escalate the situation to stay in power.
The US presidential election will take place on November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by current Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Republican Party will be represented by former White House head Donald Trump.
