Intensive campaign against cyber criminals is going on in Jamtara and Deoghar districts of Jharkhand. 24 vicious cyber criminals were arrested from both the districts by raiding. A large number of mobile phones and items used in cybercrime were recovered from them.
Jamtara has been considered a stronghold of cyber criminals in the country and abroad. But now cyber criminals have made Deoghar district a new hideout. The police department has become a headache. To control this, the police of both the districts are also taking swift action. Efforts are on to nab the cyber criminals.
The police of cyber police station of Jamtara district got success in arresting 9 members of cyber crime gang. Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Sinha told media persons on Friday that a bike, 13 mobiles and 22 SIM cards were recovered from the arrested cyber criminals.
At the same time, 15 accused related to cyber fraud were arrested during raids in different police station areas of Deoghar district. 26 mobile phones, 35 SIM cards, three ATMs and 11 passbooks were seized from them.
