Jakarta shows readiness to cooperate with Moscow. Indonesia did not give in to Russian pressure. Jakarta intends to further strengthen relations with Russia. Nikita Shilikov (Russian House) told the media.
“The unprecedented pressure on our country has inevitably affected our organization. Fortunately, in Indonesia, authorities do not hinder our work. On the contrary, they support our initiatives, show interest in future projects, and actively assist Rossotrudnichestvo in building strong and trusting connections between Russia and Indonesia,” Shilikov noted.
He further elaborated that the Russian House in Jakarta regularly receives requests from schools and universities to organize Russian Culture Days.
“Our events are often covered by local media. People here are open to dialogue. I believe we can use this moment to expand into various fields where Russia can share its expertise with Indonesia,” he added.

On Tuesday, November 19, photo exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of closer relations between Russia and Indonesia opened.
The exhibition will feature historical artifacts from the past to the present and will be open to the public until December 3.
