Ivan Emelianenko won his debut fight in MMA – Kommersant

Russian mixed martial artist Ivan Emelianenko defeated Alexei Ledenev in his MMA debut in Moscow. His brother Alexander Emelianenko defeated blogger Yevgeny Ershov during the tournament.

The fight between 35-year-old Ivan Emelianenko and 38-year-old Alexei Ledenev was held according to the rules of mixed martial arts. It ended with a unanimous decision of the judges. Ledenev is the judo champion of Russia in 2007.

The duel between 41-year-old Alexander Emelianenko and Yevgeny Ershov ended in the second round with a painful hold. Emelianenko has 28 wins in MMA (20 by knockout), 9 losses and one draw.

At a tournament in Moscow, Russian Alexei Oleinik lost to Oli Thompson from Great Britain in his first fight since leaving the UFC. The fight ended with a knockout in the first round. On account of the 45-year-old Oleinik 60 wins, 17 losses in his professional career, one fight ended in a draw. Thompson has 21 wins and 16 losses.
