It is noted that the protesters gathered in the square of the Holy Apostles. They criticized the Prime Minister of Italy Mario Draghi and unfurled a banner with slogans against NATO and the European Union.
According to the leader of the Italian communists Marco Rizzothere is “a huge difference between what the Italian people think and a parliament kneeling before NATO, the EU, the IMF and the ECB.”
The protesters also spoke out against anti-Russian sanctions, “which hit Italy harder than other countries.”
Similar actions were held in major Italian cities, including Milan, Turin, Naples and Florence.
