The post of Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation may go to the current deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Vladimir Poteshkin. A source in the department reports this.

“Deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Vladimir Poteshkin may take the post of Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation in charge of aviation,” TASS reports information from a source in the transport complex of the Russian Federation. The current Deputy Minister of Transport, Igor Chalik, will move to another position in the same industry after the end of his contract.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Alexander Sukhanov was dismissed. The corresponding order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Sukhanov oversaw transport security issues, including the Crimean Bridge, where the terrorist attack took place on October 8.
