United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the renewed violence. Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, he expressed deep sorrow for the suffering inflicted on Palestinians and urged Israel to adhere to ceasefire commitments while ensuring humanitarian aid reaches those in need.
