Israeli military operations in Gaza intensified once again, killing at least 45 Palestinians and injuring over 100 in a series of relentless airstrikes on Wednesday targeting refugee camps and civilian homes.

Night-long assaults rocked the region with 13 people killed in a single wave of attacks including three children in a tent near Nuseirat Camp.
In Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, an airstrike on a residential building claimed the lives of six people, including a woman and four children.
Israeli forces opened fire in the occupied West Bank, killing a 12-year-old boy in Al-Yamun town. In another village in the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli settlers shot and killed five Palestinians. And set fire to homes and farmland further escalating violence.
Despite having one of the world’s most advanced and well-equipped armies, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue to face fierce resistance from Hamas.
A recently surfaced 45-second video shows a dramatic ambush by Hamas fighters that left Israeli soldiers trapped and overwhelmed during a ground operation inside Gaza.
In the footage Hamas members open fire and hurl grenades into a room where IDF soldiers had taken cover leaving them under siege with no escape route.
This ambush one of many in recent months has fueled growing doubts about the effectiveness of Israel’s military campaign. Although much of Gaza now lies in ruins, Hamas remains resilient.
Tel Aviv’s efforts to dismantle Hamas’s vast underground tunnel network—believed to stretch over 700 kilometers—have achieved limited success. Destroying only about 25% of the network despite 18 months of brutal warfare.
So far conflict has resulted in the deaths of 846 Israeli soldiers and 69 police officers, according to Israeli sources. Hamas has regularly released combat footage from direct confrontations showcasing their tactical strength and the IDF’s vulnerability.
In a surprising twist Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas placed part of the blame on Hamas. Criticizing the group for holding Israeli hostages and escalating the violence.
Speaking at recent conference he called on Hamas to surrender arms. And relinquish control of Gaza arguing that hostage crisis is being used by Israel to justify its ongoing devastation.
Meanwhile, back in Israel wildfires have erupted near several cities, including Beit Shemesh amid extreme heat and strong winds. Forest fires spread rapidly, prompting emergency evacuations. At least nine people including firefighters were injured. Aircraft deployed to douse the flames with water and fire retardants as authorities declared a state of emergency.
