Israeli Defense Ministry instructs to continue strikes in the Gaza Strip


    Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz instructed the military to continue to strike targets of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip. The decision was made after a meeting with the Chief of the Army General Staff, as well as the heads of intelligence and operational management.

    Mr. Gantz instructed to focus on operations to prevent rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza. The Israeli Defense Ministry also instructed to continue work to support residents of settlements bordering Gaza, TASS reports with reference to a press release from the ministry.
