Iraqi government to shut down internet during exams

The Iraqi government approved the decision to turn off the Internet for four hours in the country on the days of exams for high school students. This is reported by the TV channel Alsumariareferring to the statement of the Ministry of Education of the Republic.

“The Council of Ministers has approved the shutdown of the Internet from 4 am to 8 am during the middle and high school examination period in order to join forces for the success of the examination process,” the ministry said in a statement following a meeting held by Minister Ibrahim al-Juburi before the start of the exams.
