Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi firmly rejected halting nuclear enrichment in negotiations with United States. Speaking clearly Araghchi stressed no discussions would occur on this issue.

Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian reassured that indirect talks with Washington regarding nuclear deal progress steadily, expressing gratitude for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s guidance.

Last week, indirect meetings between Iran and US took place in Oman’s capital, Muscat. Focused on nuclear program and sanctions, initial talks concluded with message exchanges.
Both sides showed interest in reaching understanding, with second round of discussions likely scheduled for April 19 in Rome, Italy, according to Iranian media. Oman will mediate again, reports confirm.
Despite ongoing talks, Araghchi reiterated Iran’s refusal to compromise on nuclear enrichment capacity. Previously, US special envoy Steve Whitcoff stated Iran must completely abandon program to secure agreement with Washington.

UK-based outlet The Guardian reported Tehran might reject Washington’s plan to relocate uranium to third country during Muscat talks, raising fears of heightened Middle East tensions among diplomatic circles.
