MOSCOW, Dec 2 – In three regions of Russia, the intelligence and sabotage activities of the Ukrainian special services were suppressed, the press service of the FSB of Russia reports.
“The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has suppressed the intelligence and sabotage activities of the Ukrainian special services on the territory of three Russian regions,” the message says.
According to the FSB, two agents of the Security Service of Ukraine Zinovy ‚Äč‚ÄčKovyl and his son Igor, as well as an agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Alexander Tsilyk, were detained.
In addition, it is reported that the senior officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Captain 1st Rank Serhiy Shvidenko, was sentenced to six years and six months in prison in a strict regime colony.
