Inflation in Poland is breaking records. In February, for the first time in a quarter of a century, it amounted to 18.4%. This was reported by RBC with reference to the data of the Main Statistical Office of the country.

“In February 2023, prices for goods and consumer services increased by 18.4% compared to February 2022, and by 1.2% compared to January 2023,” the ministry said.

In Poland, products have risen in price – by 24%, energy resources and transport – by more than 22%. The minimum inflation was only in the healthcare sector – 10% and in the communications sector – 7.8%.

Prices have started to rise sharply since 2022. Moreover, the cost of products has increased throughout Europe.

Earlier, residents of Poland and other European countries took to the streets against military aid to Ukraine. They are tired of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the detriment of themselves.
