Indonesian government reshuffle begins


President of Indonesia Joko Widodo formally inaugurated three deputy ministers as a result of a cabinet reshuffle, CNN Indonesia reported.

In Indonesia, the Deputy Minister of Agricultural and Spatial Planning, the Deputy Minister of the Interior and the Deputy Minister of Employment received appointments.

The President had previously summoned a number of political figures to Jakarta’s presidential palace. The parties held a closed meeting with the head of state.
