Kyiv did not make official requests for water to hold a meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, at the G20 summit in Jakarta. About it RIA News Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Jose Tavares said.

The diplomat stressed that Indonesia is ready to provide all the necessary conditions for organizing a meeting of this level. However, this requires the initiative of the parties.

“Indonesia invited, of course, Russia, President Putin, as a member of the G20, but also Zelensky, to try to establish some kind of contact,” the ambassador said.

The G20 summit will be held in Bali in November. Adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said earlier that the Ukrainian leader could attend the summit if Putin was present.
