Indian authorities have formed a special team to track down source of the threats and develop countermeasures. Investigators suspect that the perpetrator used VPN networks to create accounts on social network X, from which they published the threats. To combat the spread of false information, Indian authorities have called for blocking and deleting accounts that spread such messages.
