On June 4, Ekaterinburg recorded the warmest day in the last 143 years. According to weather forecaster Alexei Pulin, the temperature record has been held since 1880.

“Ekaterinburg has the highest air temperature so far in 2023. Average daily temperature: 24.8 (+9.6 to the norm) degrees – the warmest day on June 4 in at least 143 years,” Alexey Pulin wrote in the Weather in Yekaterinburg telegram channel.

In addition, the forecaster said that the daily maximum on June 4 was 34.2 degrees Celsius. This is a daily maximum temperature record, the previous one has been held since 1936, Pulin assures.

Earlier, URA.RU reported that a cold front would come to the Sverdlovsk region, and the influx of moisture would lead to rain in the region. The agency also said that thunderstorms on the wave of the polar front are observed in the southeast of the Perm Territory and in the Sverdlovsk Region.
