Near the house number 2 on Palisadnaya Street in Yekaterinburg, Citroën C-Elysee hit a 14-year-old schoolgirl who was driving a scooter in the wrong place. The girl with an open fracture was taken to the hospital, the traffic police in Yekaterinburg told URA.RU.
“According to preliminary information, the driver of a Citroën C-Elysee car, moving along Palisadnaya from the side of 2nd Novosibirskaya Street towards Okrainnaya, collided with a Whoosh electric scooter driven by a minor who was crossing the roadway at an unspecified place,” the inspectors said in a statement.
As a result of the collision, a 14-year-old girl, who was driving a scooter, received an open fracture of the bones of her right leg. The mother of the victim explained that her daughter took an electric scooter with her permission and went on it to her friends. A 34-year-old local resident was driving a foreign car. According to him, a schoolgirl on a scooter suddenly appeared on the road. The driver braked urgently, but it was too late.
