“Until March 15 inclusive, Tyumen residents will receive information every day about whether school classes are canceled due to climate conditions. Information is posted from Monday to Saturday twice a day (about 6:20 for the first shift, 10:50 for the second),” the mayor’s office said. Students in grades 1-4 will also have their classes canceled if the temperature is below -30 degrees and the wind speed is less than 2 m/s. Activated days for schoolchildren in grades 1-9 will occur at temperatures below -30 and wind speeds of more than 2 m/s and below -35 degrees with light winds.
