In Tyumen, soldiers of the PMC “Wagner” are helped to obtain the title of veterans

The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation in Tyumen has begun accepting documents from soldiers of the Wagner PMC who wish to receive the status of combat veterans. This was reported in the fund’s group on the VKontakte social network.

“Currently, the team of the Tyumen branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation is accepting documents for obtaining the status of a combat veteran from volunteers of the Wagner PMC. At the moment, more than 100 packages of documents have been sent to the Russian Ministry of Defense,” the foundation said.

The fund’s branch in the Tyumen region opened on June 1. Over the past time, more than 3,000 people have contacted it. The main questions that Tyumen residents come with are the provision of social assistance, medical rehabilitation, legal and psychological-psychotherapeutic support, paperwork, obtaining the status of a veteran or disabled combat veteran.
