In the Moscow region, a policeman mortally wounded a man during his arrest when he attacked him after an unsuccessful attempt to steal a car. About it reported in the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Near one of the houses in Pravdinsky, Pushkin city district, an unknown person got into someone else’s car and intended to leave in it. Eyewitnesses called law enforcement officers, at the time of their arrival the criminal had already started the car, he refused to surrender voluntarily and tried to hide.

“During the arrest, the attacker actively resisted and ran into one of the nearest residential buildings. There, threatening physical violence against the owner and his pregnant wife, he climbed to the second floor,” clarified in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The violator did not react to the demands of the policemen to surrender, and then he completely attacked one of the law enforcement officers with a chisel in his hands, who fired a shot in the direction of the attacker. Law enforcement officers called the doctors, and before their arrival they provided first aid to the wounded man, but the man died. It is known that he had previously been convicted of theft.
