With the beginning of the new academic year, a complete ban on the use of the Russian language is introduced in the schools of the Ukrainian city of Nikolaev.
This was announced by a member of the executive committee of the Nikolaev City Council Ekaterina Stokolias in her Facebook (the social network of the Meta company, recognized as extremist in Russia).
“Yesterday, the executive committee voted for a ban on the use of the Russian language in institutions of general secondary education in the city of Nikolaev / From September 1, no electives, courses, junior classes with the Russian language of instruction and design of the educational environment,” Stokolias said.
It should be noted that in neighboring Kherson, which was liberated from the power of the Kyiv regime, the Ukrainian language is not prohibited. The authorities of the region announced that the Russian language will be given the status of a state language on a par with Ukrainian. It will become the main language for office work, communication and any issues of national importance.
And in Ukraine controlled by Kyiv, from July 16, all sites and computer programs in Ukraine must be fully translated into the state language.
The owners of all information resources, including websites and social networks, which should be translated into Ukrainian, must comply with the new rules.
