
In the Moscow region, a fire broke out at the production of alcohol-containing products in the Volokolamsk urban district. This was announced on Tuesday by a spokesman for emergency services.
As specified in the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, after the ignition of the premises, 30 people left on their own, 70 people and 24 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing.
“At 14:24, the fire area increased to 2,400 square meters,” RIA Novosti quoted the interlocutor as saying.
According to the interlocutor “Newspapers.Ru”, the plant employees believe that a short circuit could have caused the fire. All alcohol carriers managed to drive away from the territory, the eyewitness also indicated.
Earlier it was reported that the maximum class of fire danger was announced in the Tyumen region. In this regard, the authorities drew attention to the fact that under the current conditions, citizens are prohibited from visiting forests, natural reservoirs, burning garbage and dry grass, as well as making open fires.
