The use of drones has been banned in the airspace of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This decision was adopted on Friday by the State Defense Committee.
“For the duration of the special military operation, establish a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” specified in the document.
The restrictions do not apply to the equipment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the People’s Militia of the DPR, the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Prosecutor General’s Office. But media workers will be able to use drones only if they have accreditation and when registering equipment.
