The DPR detained a resident of Donetsk who, posing as an FSB officer, offered to commission servicemen of the Ministry of Defense for money. About this TASS in press service UFSB.

“The detainee offered services for commissioning military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, posing as an employee of the Russian special service,” the FSB said in a statement.

The man is a suspect in a case of fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, a resident of the DPR approached the detainee and asked for her relative to be released from military service for medical reasons. The man stated that he had the opportunity and connections to help. As a result, the woman transferred him 1.36 million rubles.
