Prague, 30 November 2022, 02:33 — REGNUM The training of Ukrainian military personnel on the territory of the Czech Republic was allowed by the decision of the deputies of the lower house of the parliament of the republic. This was reported on November 29 by the Czech News Agency.
By a majority of votes, the deputies approved the stay of the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Libava training ground. By the end of this year, it is planned to organize five courses lasting a month each, which will be attended by about 800 servicemen.
The deputies also approved the participation of instructors from the Czech Republic in the training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in other EU countries, provided that the number of such mentors is not more than 55 people.
In addition, the Czech parliamentarians approved the participation of the Czech Armed Forces in the NATO mission in Iraq, which is scheduled for 2023 and 2024. In addition, by decision of the deputies of the lower house of the Czech parliament, 40 military police officers will be sent to the self-proclaimed Kosovo, where Czech police officers, as part of a unit of Italian colleagues, will maintain order in the next two years.
